Why ApplicantGrid Exists — And Who We Built It For

Most job search tools were built for one type of person: an English speaker, applying to US companies, willing to pay $40 a month.

That leaves out most of the world.

The problem

If you're job hunting in Europe today, your toolkit probably looks like this: a spreadsheet to track applications, a separate AI chat for CV help, your email inbox overflowing with job-related messages, and maybe a notes app for interview prep. Nothing talks to anything else. Nothing is designed to work together.

The paid alternatives? Expensive American platforms built for the US market, in English, with a one-size-fits-all approach that ignores how Europeans actually search for work — across languages, borders, and very different professional cultures.

And the pricing is backwards. You're asking someone who might be between jobs to pay premium subscription fees for basic career tools.

What we built instead

ApplicantGrid is a job search platform built for everyone — every language, every budget, every stage of your career.

Your job inbox — free, forever. Not a trial. Not a freemium trap. A dedicated inbox to manage all your job-related emails, permanently. When the market calls, upgrade to Pro. When you land the role, drop back to free. It's yours either way.

Pro tools when you need them:

  • CV analysis per role — paste in a job description, get ATS compatibility scoring, keyword gap analysis, and instant feedback on what's missing
  • CV tailoring — generate a version of your CV optimised for a specific position, in whichever language you're applying in
  • Cover letter generation — AI-crafted, tailored to the JD, in the tone and language you choose
  • Multilingual output — applying to a French company from Poland? Generate your tailored CV in French from a Polish original
  • Interview preparation — surface the questions you need to prepare for, based on the role and JD

Built for Europe. Launching in English, Français, Deutsch, Italiano, Polski, and Español. All EU languages by end of 2026. GDPR-native from the ground up.

Who it's for

  • Job seekers in France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, and across Europe
  • Multilingual professionals navigating cross-border job markets
  • Passive job seekers who want to stay organised without a subscription
  • Career changers and returners who need structure, not just a tracker
  • Anyone who's been priced out of the existing tools

Why I built it

I'm Mo. I'm Italian, based in Munich, and I've built my career across London, Hamburg, and Munich — hiring across Europe for companies of every size. I've worked in-house, in RPO, in agency, and as an independent recruiter, so I've seen the hiring process from every angle. I also hold a postgraduate degree in occupational and business psychology. The research is clear: the correlation between interview performance and actual job performance is just 0.33. The best candidate doesn't always get the job — the best-prepared applicant does.

ApplicantGrid exists to make sure preparation isn't a privilege. The tools to become a great applicant shouldn't cost $40 a month or only work in English.
